We’re Escape Outside the Box, a creative duo designing and building immersive experiences, custom props, and scenic sets from our workshop in Dorset, delivering projects across the UK and beyond.
From escape rooms and experiential events to brand activations and high street installations, we design, build, and finish environments that tell stories, evoke emotion, and invite people to step inside something extraordinary.
Every project is crafted in-house, taking ideas from concept through to fabrication and installation. Using poly carving, woodwork, scenic finishing, and bespoke set construction, we focus on sustainability, storytelling, and meticulous detail in everything we create.

We design and build bespoke escape rooms from the ground up. From narrative and puzzle flow to full scenic construction and technical integration, we create robust, immersive environments built for public use and repeat play.

We create immersive installations for exhibitions, brands, and public spaces. From pop-ups to touring activations and photo moments, our work invites audiences to step inside an idea and interact with it physically.

We fabricate custom props and scenic elements that bring environments to life. Working entirely in-house, we combine carpentry, sculpting, poly carving, and scenic finishing to deliver durable, high-impact builds.
